Call for volunteers: National Science Week 2019

National Science week 2019 is almost here! This year the Monash BDI has invited Year 8 students to visit the Institute on Friday 16 August. The program includes tours of Monash BDI laboratories and interactive hands-on activities at our new Biomedical Learning and Teaching Building (BLTB).

We are looking for ECRs and PhD students to volunteer for one of these two options:

1. Host a group of 12 students for a ‘walk-through’ tour of your lab. No activities involved. Four labs needed – one volunteer per lab. Time required: 20-30 minutes.
2. Assist in the interactive activities planned at the BLTB. Four volunteers needed. Time required: 1-1.5 hours.
